Dj RÄNI (Doris Vahtra) is an Estonian-born Dj, actor, and multidisciplinary artist based between Ireland and Estonia. Active since 2021, she has performed at festivals, clubs, and curated events across Estonia, Ireland, France, and the Azores Islands (Portugal).
Playing is like surfing for her. To catch a wave, full presence is essential. All senses tuned and wide open. It is all about being ready to react, shift direction, move with precise timing, surprise, and transform the dance floor. She calls it the flow. Once the wave is caught, she moves with it, not through water, but through waves of sound and rhythm.
Her sets move between deep, driving, and hypnotic moments, shaped by melody, rhythm, and instinctive genre shifts. Working like an alchemist with music, Dj RÄNI draws from sounds and cultures across the world, blending house, techno, tribal, ambient, oriental, and folk-inspired music into full-bodied experiences of vibration, movement, and surprise.
